I request permission for the vehicles(s) listed below under my operational control, which it is essential to use on restricted streets during the operational hours of the London Lorry Control Scheme.
Note 1: You must use the permitted roads (called the ERN; see below) for as much of your journey as practically possible, up to the final segment to your destination.
Note 2: For journeys starting outside the M25, we expect Hauliers to use the Motorway and A-roads where they are available.
Note 3: The roads which HGV’s are permitted to use at any time without permission are called the ‘Excluded Road Network’ (ERN). The roads outside the ERN are called ‘restricted roads’ and you need permission from London Councils to drive on them.
Note 4: Please be aware of height and weight restrictions on your route(s).
Note 5: Please check regularly for roadworks and traffic diversions on your route(s).
I confirm that to the best of my knowledge the information given in this application form is accurate at the time of writing. I will inform London Council’s Lorry Control Scheme of any material change in the details relating to this application and will supply evidence of any details at any time upon request by London Councils.
London Councils will be responsible for your information which they will use to administer the Lorry Control Scheme. Your information will not be used for marketing and will only be shared with other organisations (e.g. Other local authorities and law enforcement agencies) to provide the service, and when it is legal to do so.
Fraudulent or false statements could lead to prosecution. Any false statement will invalidate permissions.
